Project-Based Voucher Programs
The Housing Authority of the City of Augusta, Georgia, (AHA) in partnership with Walton Communities, is pleased to announce that the site-based waiting lists for the Project-Based Voucher Programs at The Legacy at Walton Oaks, Walton Oaks, The Legacy at Walton Green, and Walton Green will be open effective Monday, March 18, 2024, at 9:00 am.
The Augusta Housing Authority will provide Project-Based Voucher units at The Legacy at Walton Oaks for seniors ages 55 and up and at The Legacy at Walton Green for seniors ages 62 and up and for families at Walton Oaks and Walton Green. Effective Monday, March 18, 2024 through Friday, June 28, 2024, potential residents may complete an online application at www.augustapha.org. AHA will accept preliminary applications through 5:00 pm on Friday, June 28, 2024, at which time AHA will close the site-based waiting lists. Preliminary Applications will be accepted electronically through our website. Any individual who needs an accommodation to complete an online application because of a disability, should contact 706-312-3121 for assistance or our TDD 706-724-0130. AHA will assist in completing the preliminary applications online for those individuals who need such assistance. Computers are also available for online applications in the lobby of our office located at 1435 Walton Way, Augusta, Georgia 30901.
